Add Few More Features on Manage Models Screen
We have got more than 500 models in our training workspace which is 130 GB. It is quite difficult to keep a track of all those huge models when it comes to workspace cleansing and even more difficult to access someone's own model or accessing any model and making that as a favorite. Hence proposing an idea to 1. Have one…

Filter Columns in List
As an Anaplan Admin User, it would be very helpful if we can filter columns in List. In some cases, we don't want to put the list in a module because of the size limitation. It would be great if the admin can still filter properties and check what the user actually loaded.

Identify disabled users at the workspace level
When a tenant admin disables a user from Administration>Users. It should remove the user from all workspaces or should have a way to identify at the workspace level that the user is disabled.
-
Update User Information
It would be nice to have the tenant or security admin's be able to update a users first or last name. Users can update their own names but it would be nice from a shared services perspective to be able to update especially if the name was misspelled incorrectly at creation.

Workspace ID and Model ID in the Administration Page
Addition of workspace ID's and model ID detials to the adminstration page which makes it easy to capture the details when ever it is required instead of opening the model to capture it.

Add flexibility to history export requests for Anaplan models
As a model builder, I would like to see greater flexibility to history export requests for Anaplan models. Context: The History Export function is critical for audit checks to understand if any particular user activity/imports/processes might have caused a data issue or some connection to break. It is important as part of…

Ability to Reorder Users
It will be very helpful if there is an option to reorder the names in the Users list. Since we can use users as a dimension now, some of our use cases need users in alphabetic orders or to have all users in one role together. This will help in user administration as well.

Maintain current period/switchover in PROD workspace
When using ALM, the timescale and its properties are currently treated as a non-production list, which means that changes to Current Period and Switchover need to be performed in DEV, and then sync'd across to PROD. This is not best practice for SDLC, since it means you are mixing regular monthly admin tasks with the model…

Mapping History ID to the revision tag
Having a additonal field in revision tag tab to captuure history ID. This ID should get auto populated with latest history ID when we create a revision tag, this will help to easily find the history ID of each revision tag and helps us to roll back/forward the models. If we want to go back to future while fixing any…

Current Version included as production data
I think the new feature of being able to adjust the version settings in a deployed model is great. I will apologise in advance if I have missed something, but think it would be a good idea if the current version checkbox can also be updated in a production model as this currently feels like a gap. I may want to remove some…

Add 'module' column to master line item view
There is currently no 'module' column in the master line item view. We use this view to search for specific references in the model when changes are needed. However, if there are a large amount of line items and modules it can be difficult to easily track down everywhere the change needs to be made.

Current Period needs to be re-set for ALM models after 8th Aug platform release
When syncing existing ALM models, users will find that the Current Period becomes unset in the Deployed model. This will occur for the first ALM sync after the 8th August Platform Release. The reason for this is due to the Time Label changes that have been introduced and which are documented here:…

Create Lists for the Tenant rather create Lists for a Model
At Anaplan we promote a DataHub model. This is the central model to create/manage Lists, to import data into and to transform this data, to have the Lists and transformed data imported into the relevant models. As for the Lists, rather creating the Lists in each model and to have a process to update these Lists across…

Production list item protection
Hello, We are in the final stages of an implementation and are running into issues related to marking lists as production data. The problem is that over the course of development many list items have been referenced in line item formulas, so the system prevents these lists from becoming production data. The workarounds…

New UX - My Pages User Role
Is it possible to enable/disable My Pages based on user role? My client is asking to make it available only for specific roles. I believe it is only model specific, but wanted to be sure. Thanks!

How many environments would be best practice (client is using UX)?
This question came from my new client, who will be going live next week... Currently we have 3 models in the workspace, Dev, Test, and Prod with the Test model feeding the end user App. At some point in the next 2 weeks we will transition the pages to point to the Production model instead of the Test model. Do you…

Editing list members
Hi, We have a list which is enabled selective access. That list is used in a report and published in dashboard. The user is able to edit the name of the list members which is not expected. Is there any way I can restrict users from not editing list member name.

Models topology- visual version
The idea is to implement a visual model's topology map. The initial idea is to build it like the module map available in the model that shows all module dependencies, but for models. Currently there is a possibility to find information about ALM models that are synced with another on the revision list and on the source…

Model copy not being logged in the source model history
When performing a model copy, it is logged in the model copy's history, but not in the source model's history. Nvidia requires any model copy taken to be logged in the source model for security purposes. Below is the history log of a model copy I made. It is logged in the model copy. If we could have a similar entry log in…

NUX delays in Syncing when updating Users assignments
Since NUX went live I have noticed the syncing time has increased. Initially when making changes to the Users Role via Assignments option, if you would lets say add Page Builders role to their profile, this would instantly appear in the Pages section on their screens. Recently these changes have been taken between 2-3…

Copy Line Item
As a user, I want to have the ability to copy a selected line item while in blueprint mode. This functionality would save time and prevent potential user errors/toasts. I will know this is successful when I have the ability to copy an existing line item and type the name in a dialogue box that is brought up after pressing…

Log user access through NUX in the audit log
The administrator audit log today tracks when a user accesses a model, which makes it useful for monitoring both unauthorized access/incorrect user settings and model usage across the platform. However, it does not log when a user accesses the model through NUX (which is not logged anywhere according to the support). As an…

ALM explained—Part 3: avoiding data loss
Introduction In part two of the new ALM Explained series, we discussed the best practices for testing and validating changes prior to deploying them to production models. However, we also know that testing protocols are not always followed, especially if the change is an emergency patch, and sometimes, the synchronization…

Labeling import prompt for end users
With the current import process, when users are prompted for files, it simply says 'Upload a file for input into [insert module name(s)]'. It would be helpful if we could associate which file is used for which action as the end user selects the file. Example: uploading 2 files into the same module, with different…

Completing the sync would cause your workspace to exceed its size
Hello Community, We've just identified this error while migrating to ALM one of our Models. This is the second one we are trying to deploy. The approach we've taken is to have One production model + One Dev + One Test Model (DEV and Test both in the same workspace). Model that is failing has 66.5 GB size from a total of…

Level 2 - Sprint 1 - Lesson 1.5.6.1 Creating Historic Volumes Module

So I ventured to set up a new category but was unable to do so. Could you please help with how to set up a new category. Anapedia help says I need to get into…

ALM explained—Part 2: testing
Introduction There are no shortcuts when it comes to testing as part of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), but the following is a guide for how to test prior to deploying changes to production models, to minimize issues on deployment. As part of the decision to utilize ALM, you should have created the ‘structure for…

Two-factor authentication
Hello I am currently verifying whether Anaplan will be introduced to my company. I was most concerned about security. Anaplan is a SaaS service, so only login + password cannot meet my company's security standards. However, if I can create two-factor authentication, it is likely that I will meet my company's security…
